Lifespan Collaborative Services, LLC was established in 2015 as a small private practice by Dilice Robertson to address the growing need for psychiatric and behavioral health disparities, utilizing medication management services to focus beyond just the symptoms or diagnoses. Through direct collaboration with clinicians in the local community, Lifespan Collaborative Services has strived to optimize the quality of life for patients through the use of medication management as an adjunct to psychotherapy.
Dilice graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry and a Masters in Psychology. Her experiences working with children and adolescents in an inpatient setting sparked her interest in psychiatric nursing. Yale University School of Nursing provided the education for the Advanced Practice Nursing role and focus on child and adolescent psychiatry earning a Clinical Nurse Specialist certification in addition to the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification via the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC). She has worked in the Advance Practice role from inpatient, outpatient, psychiatric residential treatment facilities and substance abuse programs. In 2015, she pursued a Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Fairfield University where her capstone project focused on the impact of PTSD on substance use in adults. She remains invested in teaching and academia and facilitates learning with PMHNP students in the practice setting. She currently is a faculty member at Yale University School of Nursing.
Tonya is a highly rated board-certified nurse practitioner who graduated from the University of Saint Joseph with a Master’s degree in nursing. Her credentials include more than seventeen years of experience working with adults afflicted with complex medical and co-occurring intellectual and psychiatric disorders. The University of Saint Joseph provided the education for her Advanced Practice Nursing role. It focused on providing care across the lifespan from age 6 to 99 earning a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification via the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC). Working in the inner-city outpatient community setting, her diverse experiences have prepared Tonya for an Advanced Practice Nursing role with a broad spectrum of focus, including managing disorders such as substance abuse, mood, anxiety, intermitting explosive disorders, and ADHD. Tonya’s comprehensive, holistic approach to patient care carefully considers all aspects of health and teaching.
Tonya is actively pursuing a “Doctor of Nursing Practice in Healthcare” at Chamberlin University. In addition, she remains invested in education as a clinical adjunct for the University of Saint Joseph in the undergraduate nursing program. Her ultimate mission is to mend health disparities and promote integrated health care by providing the best treatment possible without regard to race, religion, or gender.
Born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut, Shaylice graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelors in Human Development and Family Studies. She attended Fordham University to pursue a Master in Psychological Counseling, and attended Yale University to pursue a Masters in Nursing, specializing in psychiatric-mental health. Shaylice is has held many high profile professional psychiatric positions in Connecticut, Indiana, Illinois and Michigan including Lead APRN and Director of Psychiatric Nursing.
Shaylice has has treated patients as young as 4 years old, and through adulthood. She has treated a variety of mental health diagnoses, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, autism, PTSD and thought disorders. She has worked in diverse settings, including private practice, correctional managed healthcare, and community mental health, as well as both in-patient and out-patient substance abuse clinics. She loves to watch patients flourish and reach their goals, and believes that there is nothing more fulfillin. Recently, Shaylice has returned to Yale University to obtain her Doctorate in Nursing Practice with a project focusing on decreasing the barriers to treatment by utilizing telepsychiatry.
A native New Yorker, Amaka graduated with a Bachelors in Health Science from Stony Brook University. In 2017, she obtained a Master’s in Public Health from the University of South Florida. Amaka has several years' experience in substance use prevention, intervention and treatment research, which lends to her present clinical work as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Amaka also has experience working with in-patient care populations living with substance use and acute psychiatric disorders.
Amaka is passionate about serving her clients through the use of psychotherapy, psycho-education, and medication management. Her mission is to promote positive lifestyle changes. Amaka also earned a Masters of Science in Nursing from Yale University. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and is licensed to serve patients in New York and Connecticut.
